Actually, a coworker (Roy) just pointed out that I misunderstood which links you meant. I was talking about links in the virtual buffer for chat messages, but you're talking about links that are tab stops in various screens. Those work fine under JAWS 8 but do not show up with "lnk" in Braille under JAWS 9, with or without scripts. Our current theory is that this is a JAWS 9 issue and not an issue with the Skype scripts themselves. As such, it will probably get fixed in an upcoming JAWS release or update. I will watch for that but also for any way to fix the problem on my end, if the problem actually does prove to be a Skype script issue.

The speech says that something is a link but the Braille doesn't indicate that it is a link. E. g., "Call cheaply to ." is announced as a link but the Braille just shows the text. The buttons and menu buttons show correctly. Thanks, J. R. -------------------- J. R. Westmoreland E-mail: jr at jrw.org Thanks for posting to the skype english list.
