I just make one contact for each number but make the names similar, like "Jim (home)", "Jim (cell)", "Jim (work)", etc. Of course, if a contact does use Skype and puts all those numbers in the profile, you'd have what you want. But no, there's not a way to have a single contact entry bearing multiple phone numbers like you suggest.
