You really wouldn't. I personally can't stand USB head sets. They take up
a USB port, plus, if you ever need to record something that requires you to
patch your jaws speech through as well as your mike, good luck there as it
ain't gonna happen, etc. O, and let's not forget the problem, at least, I
have, where if I boot uop with the headset plugged in, all sounds go through
my speakers, but jaws goes through the headset, thus, forcing me, to have to
unload jaws, then restart it. Even editting jfw.ini won't fix that issue
for some reason. I can't say this is notorious of all USB head sets though,
as if I plug it to my laptop and try rebooting, that problem wont' happen.
So, I dono. The other thing is, I have noticed at least with my head set,
it's really trebbly no base. It's so high on frequency, it almost hurts my
ears. There is literally at least to mine, no low end at all. Frankly, if
you can stick with an 8th inch mike, do it, or even better, get a mixer, and
go that way like I did. Not all are fortunate enough to go that route, nor
may want to, so I won't condemn obviuosly those who can't or won't, but
really that is the best way to go if you can hash it.

Chris.
