Well, as you remember, a friend of mine could not connect to skype. Below are the steps that she took to try to connect with skype. She still can not connect. Any help would be appreciated. Here's her message.
Here is what I have tried with Skype 3.8. I went to the control panel to uninstall Skype. When I told it to remove the file I got the message that I had to close the file first. I tabbed over to the OK button and it was then uninstalled. I got the message from skype that they hated to see me go and offered me the download button. I downloaded skype and tried to reinstall it. I had gone to the desktop and found the skype icon. When I entered on it, I got the message that the short cut was missing. I have now managed to totally uninstall skype and reinstall it. Still no luck in connecting. I even tried turning my computer back to a date before the problem. Nope, that didn't work either. I surrender. Any sugtgestions are very much welcome. Thanks in advance!
