I looked at doing that once but didn't manage to get it done. I agree it would help. For now, I just routeJAWSToPC and go down one line to hear the status I think. I've not been spending a lot of time on Skype 3 scripts now though because Skype 4 is so different, and anything I do for Skype 3 now will not work with Skype 4. I'm sorta waiting to see how Skype 4 settles out, particularly since its new wide interface is somewhat controversial even among sighted users.
