you could always try hj pad from the jaws sub-menu under programs. It is intended primarily as a learning tool but I suppose you could use it but it is a slow process.
You get a fairly good idea of what you are typing in my view, if you set your typing echo to words, this way, you will know what you've typed for your last word once you hit spacebar.
