Hi Allison, I recently purchased a Plantronics 590E Bluetooth stereo headset for my cell phone. I paid around $80 Canadian. The quality with my cell phone is pretty good, listening to music is pretty good, but I tried it with Skype talking to a friend and while she could hear me fine and I could hear her, she said it definitely wasn't anywhere near as good as when I am using my USB headset.
In general Plantronics makes very good headsets and their Bluetooth headsets are no exception. Keep in mind that if you buy something really inexpensive that you get what you pay for. Also, make sure your laptop supports bluetooth headsets, many laptops have bluetooth for connecting to bluetooth keyboards, printers and mobil devices, but the headset bluetooth standard is different, I can't remember exactly what it's called, something like A2DP or A2D2 or something like that.
