That is not an issue at all. In fact it makes the script more reliable. Because the fact is that as user interface changes happen the api calls will not. So this means that skype chats etc will be read no matter what they do to the UI. So at this point window-eyes has the advantage of providing skype event information where jaws has the advantage when it comes to the UI. Now if only the two advantages could be put together. Oh well I will keep on dreaming. Once again Doug want to play with the window-eyes scripts for skype. They are open source and I am sure you could do a lot of good things with them.
