Hi, Negoslav!
This is IRC like command. For instance, if you type into the chat something 
like this:

/me [is sleepy and thinking of leave this conversation]

the following message will appear in chat window for all to see:

Negoslav is sleepy and thinking to leave this conversation.
The main thing is that, if it is all like IRC, above message won't appear 
with the "Negoslav says:" prefix. It will be shown similar to status 
messages or something.
