Hi, Ali!
Those are emoticons that sighted people use for expressing their emotions, 
feelings and so on.
You can send emoticons through toolbar with it using the mouse or you can 
type key sequences for them. You probably have disabled displaying of 
graphical emoticons, so you getting key sequences in your chats.
I created dictionary file for Skype so Jaws can interpret this key sequences 
correctly and I sent it to Doug. It's up to him will he release the next 
version of 3.8 scripts with this dictionary included or people who wants it 
will manually add this to Enu folder.
