No I don't think so! All they can do is try again until both parties can hear each other! Unless you go in to your options and check if your audio settings are set to allow you to control the audio instead of skype automatically adjusting it for you! Which in turn that means that you have to make sure that the "let skype adjust your audio" checkbox is unchecked! I sincerely hope that helps you!
