Hi all, posting this on behalf of a friend of mine, who I don't think
is on this list. She has gone through two headset mics, (these are
analog mics, with the plugs on them that go into the soundcard). I
was talking to her on Skype for a little while yesterday, and she was
sounding fine. Then later that day, she said that the mic she was
using had stoped working, so she took it back to where she'd gotten
it, got another one, and it didn't work at all. This sounds like a
very, very weird issue. She's using Skype 4 by the way, and she's a
low vision user, using Zoomtext. Also asked her to try it in another
application, which she did in Audacity, and it didn't work there
either. Any answers to this puzzling problem anyone?
