You do not need to remove old scripts before installing new ones. However, you can only have one set, 3.8 or 4.0/4.1, running at a time. If you have installed the 4.0 or 4.1 scripts and then want to go back to Skype 3.8, you will need to reinstall the 3.8 scripts. Making multiple versions of the Skype scripts coexist in one JAWS installation is a complicated problem, especially given the number of different JAWS versions supported by the Skype scripts. I have moved closer to being able to do something like this, but I doubt it happens while SkypeWatch is necessary.
