With the scripts running, Ctrl+8 goes to History; but History has
issues when you try to read very far down the list, and Skype will
probably have to fix that.
Skype would have to implement the auto-focus-as-you-type thing again.
I remember it from 3.8, but I have not requested that one for 4.1.
It's a little trickier to know exactly when you'd want it now, since
it is possible to filter the Contact list by typing partial names. In
Default view, the Contact list and one conversation input box are in
the same window.

started typing and you were in the chat history window you were
automatically placed in the message edit area and could just type the
message. Now you have to deliberately move yourself to that window. Could
this be done?
