Hi Julia I'm a newby as well here. My name is Alex, and I live in Chester in the north west of England. I'm not in employment any longer as I had a serious operation on my neck four years ago to remove a small portion of my spine around a disc that was impacting on my spinal chord. I still have some balance issues and I've lost some sensation in my left hand, but considering all that, I'm very lucky following the outcome. I was directed to this list by a good friend, and I'll let you and everyone else know the things I like as time permits. I adore star trek, the films, tv series and audio books, and I'm a fairly recent fan of 24. I'm on klango, skype and windows live messenger, details of which are in my signature.
