Hi!
Yes, it will read them automatically, just like MSN, but you need to be in the
window for it to read them automatically. If you're having ultiple
conversations, you'll need to switch windows and use alt 1 to read the most
recent message in that conversation.

sometimes you will get a notification that you have a skype chat by
jaws saying part of the screen area that the skype chat is displayed on but
otherwise
no skype do not really technically have the ability as far as I know of
