Hi Chrissy and all, if the problem are the incoming chats, you can disable this notification in Skype. Try what follows: 1. while in Skype main window, goto Tools / Options; 2. press down harrow till you hear "Notification settings"; 3. press tab til the checkbox: "Show a try notification when someone starts a chat with me", and un check with a space bar; 4. press tab until Save button and then space bar. End of procedure! Now SW won't announce an incoming chat. Well, generally you can make this unchecking for all the info you want not to hear. Bye bye! Barbuz
