Hi, Alex! Did you boost up your mic in Windows Volume Control? Go to Control Panel, Sounds and Audio Devices, Audio tab, Playback section Volume Control, then check Advanced Options in pull down menu there, and after it tab to Mic section of Volume control and you should have "Advanced" button under the Mute check box.
