Hi,
in a conversation, pressing ctrl+4 you will move insantly to the edit box,
and ctrl+5 will take you to the message list. This is valid also for Skype
4.1.
BTW, I report other problems which I'm encountering with the chat:
1. pressing insert+t in a conversation Window, the status is no more
pronounced after the contacts full name;
2. when quitting a chat, I no longer focus Skype main window but JAWS tells
me there's no window active, and in the Braille display I read the phrase,
"Press a cursor routing to go to the desktop".
