Hi!
Well I've finally managed it.
Here's what I think I did. It seems conveluted to me, so I'm detailing it
here, in case there is a more efficient way as this was quite time consuming
and obviously inefficient.
Started by finding person 1 in the contact list.
2. Go to context menu and selecting IM.
3. Sent an IM to explain that I was testing adding people as they've
requested.
4. Tab to add people and press space.
5. This brought up the contacts list, so had to scroll through it to find a
contact
6. Tab to select button and press space.
7. Tab arouund until I found the add button and press space (Perhaps it is
on the toolbar.
Now the multi-person conversation I wanted is in my conversations list.

Good instructions, but when arrowing through the convesations list, I
never heard that announced again.
Have since updated S,kuype to beta 4.2.0.141 and find it is the same.

yes: to join the chat click that button: to do this follow these steps.
1. Shift tab untill you get to the "conversations list." Then arrow down
to where you will here that text again, now tab once and press space on
the link. It's a link, and when you press space it will open the window
for you to be able to view that chat or type.

Yes, it does, though it is the first I've heard of it.
Guess there is still another step. When I first create the
window by
starting the conversation with the firstparty, then /add
secondparty, it
says that I've created a group conversation, then says show group
conversation. Is that a button I'm supposed to press or what? In
the old
days, if you had a group chat, the window title always had the
names of all
the people in the group.

I would imagine that the good old way of typing, "/add skype
account name,"
without the quotes of course, would still work just fine.
Example:
/add echo123
