Yes you can download and install the scripts from www.dlee.org/skype.
You're looking for Skype 3.x, and it's scripts revision 653a. It is
prefered you download the installer rather than the zip archive as the
installer automates the script installation. What comes with the
scripts, but is not active by default, is a feature called SkypeWatch.
This notifies you of events like who is calling, who's online, and so
on. The site I gave you also has a link to download the utility to set
up this SkypeWatch. Hope this helps for now.
