hi, jaws has a video driver. this means that jaws can get information sent
to said driver. so if information is not sent to msaa or I accessibility or
the windows api jaws and other screen readers can still provide the
information. as for why you should install nvda it is useful. for example I
use it in place of narrator to get computers set up. no video driver here
is an advantage. it is also useful in my main screen reader stops talking I
can use nvda to figure out what happened. hth
