Hi Clare: Thanks for the information about deleting the history items. I have set three months for keeping all the items.
Previously, I was using Skype Version 3.8 and only decided to install Version 4.1 last week. The layout was different but I accustomed myself to memorize most of the commands and one of the good things about this version is that the sound component is excellent. I don't think it's possible to delete individual items in your Skype history in Skype 4.1, Francis, but you can either delete your whole history, or change your settings in tools, options, privacy settings,so that the history isn't kept forever. For example, I have set Skype to keep my history for 3 months. But you can set Skype to keep your history for one month, two weeks, or not at all. It's your choice how long you keep your Skype history, but I would guess that, the less time you keep it, the less space it takes up in your computer.
