it shows the last ten messages received threw the com server. so let say
you are talking with contact Raquel and contact crystal sends you a message
contact crystal will be message one and the last thing contact Raquel said
will be message 2 etc.

I have a question. What happens if you have more than one chat going? Will
skype talking repeat last 10 mesages from the last convirsation or it will

hi jack what skype talking will do for you is something you would not
want because you never liked skype watch. basically it will read who
comes on line off line etc. it also informs you who is calling and reads
chat messages. the nice thing about skype talking is it uses the skype
api com server so the program works with 1.4.78 and above. it will also
allow you to change your status on the fly read the last ten messages and
it gives you complete control over what you here. it also works with
sapi 5 so if you want to have a different voice read your skype messages
you can.
also jack remember not everyone out there uses jaws. for example this
program provides grate access with nvda that otherwise would not be
there. if your running skype 4.2 it is a must have for jaws users who
want the features of skype watch. window-eyes users don't need skype
talking for the automatic reading because the window-eyes scripts do this
but window-eyes users will love the keys for repeating last event reading
last ten chat messages etc. jaws users will love the fact that the last
ten messages can be herd no matter where you are.

Some users don't have Jaws and some of the screen readers don't have
full access to all of skype's functions, I think both Jaws with scripts
and skypetalk go well together, obviously running separate of course but
although I confess to still using 3.8 due to upgrade issues on pc, I'm
geting mixed signals regarding Skype 4 onwards so I think all we can do
as skypers is continue the best support between us getting over all the
technical obstacles on way.

Sorry to be the ignorant one here, but is this software really
necessary? Jaws tells you everything that's happening during the Skype
install. How much info do people need to run a simple install?
