That's easy! If you have some wave files you want to use, you can import
them and make one of them your ring tone. Here's what you do:
1. Know what wave files you want to use. They should be small ones, or
Skype won't use them.
2. Press Alt T for the tools menu and up arrow once to Options.
3. Press Enter and arrow down to the Sounds option.
4. Tab to the Import Button and press Enter.
5. Just as you would use the browse feature, go to the folder with your
sounds, which is usually c:\Windows\Media\ and choose a sound by
highlighting it.
6. Tab to the Open Button or just press Enter.
Now that the sound is imported you can repeat the above steps to import
more sounds or go on to change your ring tone.
7. If you are ready to change your ring tone, just press Shift Tab until
you hear "Skype ring tone Modern" which is the default.
8. Arrow up and down or press the first letter of your chosen wave file
until you find it.
9. Tab to the Play Button to see if the file works.
9. If it works, tab to the Save Button, but if it doesn't work, please
repeat step 8 until you find a sound clip that works and you like. Then
try this step again.
10You should have your file saved as your new ring tone!
A word of wisdom, if you are going to import multiple sound files for
different commands, please do it all at one time; then go ahead and change
your sounds.
