Hi all. I have recently upgraded to a new computer using Windows 7 Home Premium. How do I use Skype with my sound card's stereo mix function? Let's say for instance I want to play a sound file to a caller, but I want the caller to be able to hear the sound clearly. In Windows XP, I selected stereo mix as the recording device, and Skype automatically adjusted. In Windows 7, when I select stereo mix as the default recording device, it has no influence on Skype. Is there a setting in Skype that I need to change as well if I want to use stereo mix?
Perhaps I should also just mention that I have now changed from a Creative SoundBlaster Live sound card to a Genius sound card. Hope this makes sense. Thanks in advance.
