Hi, well, I downloaded and had the scripts installed. I still plan on going
to Doug's page, but I still can't find where to request contact details and
I've looked everywhere. It was in the old 3.8 version. If this gets
anymore frustrating and complicated, I may just install everything about
skype, it's not worth the hassle. I'm tired of it saying Jamie4Jesus 9 or 9
Jamie4Jesus every time I get on since I can't get something off or closed or
something. Thanks anyway for your help, it's appreciated bigtime, I'm just

Hi, your running the latest skype so you want the latest scripts that

ok once you install that you can get to your conversation with control 2
then you can arrow down the list with the arrows. When you find a
conversation you want to deal with press the space bar. To move to the
edit
box to input a chat press control 4. To see the message events press
control 5. To delete a conversation press delete. This is the same as
closing it. Note this will not remove a person from your contact list.
To
get the persons information in your contacts list from the conversation
list
ie request details on the conversation hit the context key select request
details and wala.
I think you really might want to check out the documentation on dougs page
it explains all this stuff also jaws key h can be helpful.

Hi, all, I'm overwhelmed by the new 4.2 skype and the new scripts. I
can't
get from conversation to conversation, and it says I've got nine
conversations. I can't close them or do anything with them. I tried to
install updated scripts but don't know whether to get 4.d or E to cover
version 4.2. While I had skype up, I heard two sounds and didn't know if

was people wanting me to chat or contact requests and I couldn't find

a chat window or a dialog box for anybody requesting contact with me. I
also can no longer request anybody's contact details. I feel like I'm in
water over my head, can somebody help, and explain it in ordinary layman's

scripts. I've only done it rarely as my philosophy is if it ain't broke,
