Hi, doesn't matter if skype talking is set up to start skype then if skype is not running skype talking will start skype if skype is already running skype talking will not try to start skype. Another cool feature of skype talking is if you want when you close skype talking it will close skype for you. This means you got a hot key to quit skype. Hth
