What's what? Google voice?
It's your google voice account.
You have one if you have a Gmaill account.
Just go to
http://www.google.com/voice
and Create your free GV number whear ever you want it to be in the u.s
and people can call it for free, and you get free voice mail!
And conferencing calling.
you can also use it ofer the pc to have free pc calls.
just download SJ Phone or any sip app, and as long as you have a sip
number you can use it.
like gizmo5.
it's really easy to do.
The gaget is for your igoogle page.
When you login to your igoogle page, you can see the mobile version of
the Google voice site on it.
The desktop version is ok with jaws, but i wish they made it better.
use firefox when setting it up though, as it shows up as buttons on
firefox then i.e.
If you get it working with I.e then that's ocool too.
or, use NVDA.
It works best with nvda.
so, my gv number is
281-301-5784 and that's the number you'd call, but it would ring my
phones to let me knwo youcalled.
basickly, you can give out yoru number and know one wil l knowyour real
number. unless you call them back from it.
to call back with yoru google voice number.
dial in to your google voice number and login by pressing the star key.
with your 4 diget pin.
then press two to place a call. and bam!
your numbe will show up. or you can just place the call from the web page.
you can alos download the voice mails and see them transcribed on the
page too
