Hi!
For your information, Chris, you are never "forced" to update Skype at all.
Even in the newer versions, where the default setting is to update, you can
change the options so that it doesn't do that. I have set my own Skype so
that it doesn't automatically update, therefore I can choose to update Skype
when I want to: not when Skype wants me to: for example, I don't update
Skype unless I can be sure that there are scripts available for the newest
version.
Of course, if you want to stick with Skype 3.6, that's your choice, but I
just wanted to clarify that nobody is ever forced to update Skype if they
don't want to.

downgraded to that. The other good news unlike 3.8 is that you are not
