You are partly right, Michele, but a contact can show as "this person has
not shared their details" when they have deleted you from their contact list
without blocking you. This has happened to me, a contact deleting me without
blocking me I mean, but that happened accidentally and the contact concerned
re-added me when I emailed them about it.
So I suggest that, if you see that someone's status disappears and changes
to "this person has not shared their details", you should contact that
person and ask if they have blocked you or deleted you.
The only time I know I've been blocked on Skype, the person who did that
emailed me to tell me she'd done so, because she was furious with me about
something and wanted to break off contact with me, and perhaps if somebody
blocks you they will warn you, but this doesn't always happen if they
haven't had a quarrel with you.

if you saw online a contact before and then you see it as not sharing
details, chances are you've been blocked. Butthere's no guarantee since
some times I saw something like that but people told me they did not
block.
