Hi guys, I'm a new member on this list. My name is Siena (Pronounced Sienna but spelled with one n), I'm 23 and live in Ontario, Canada. I'm a university student, studying French and italian and hoping to become a translator/interpreter. So if any of you speak French, feel free to write to me off list in French, and i would also like to improve my Italian.
My skype question is in regards to Skype 4.2 not letting me accept calls. I have an HP Mini running Windows 7, my screenreader is NVDA. Normally, to answer a call, I would go to the call menu, press enter on Answer, and then press enter on the name of the person who is calling. I don't have a Page Up key on my HP Mini, so this method seems to be the easiest way. This used to work fine on Skype 4.2, but since a couple of weeks ago, it hasn't been working. What could be causing this issue? When I try to click on Answer, it says "unavailable". I've tried this with NVDA and System Access to go. Thanks in advance, any help would be greatly appreciated.
