Hello all, as in subject line, this is an important message mostly for people using JAWS 11 with the most recent versions of Skype, starting from 4.1. I have to state first that I did not test JAWS 11 myself very well, and I did not test the Skype scripts integrated at all. According to an email which I received on an italian mailing list, though, it looks like these scripts do not solve the screen reader not detected problem. For those who don't know what I'm talking about, a detailed explanation of the problem can be found at: http://kirk.dlee.org:13380/skype/sr_not_detected.php. So, I recommend that these users download in any case Doug Lees scripts from his website (www.dlee.org/skype), and that they also uncheck automatic start of Skype in Windows startup, in Skype general options.
