this has been here before but at the time i was still on 4.2
now i am on 5.0 i need to ask this again as it got deleted how do i update
my moods message?
i believe the method to do this has changed

i did what you said and now i have 5.0
it says something like 5.0.0.152 or something like that.
anyway it is now installed and up and running
thank to you and the others that pointed me towards achieving the upgrade
i have not tried all of this update yet but i notice that in the advance
section as well as extended keyboard there is something that says screen
readers checked.
i presume this is to do with screen readers but what exactly does it do?

this doesn't always work for everyone, but the other way to try to get
the
latest skype version is to use the check for updates in the skype help.
Try
going this route, alt plus h in the skype window to activate the help
menu,
then press the letter e, or, arrow down four times to check for updates.
Press enter and see if you can get the update automatically that way.
