I'm already running the final JAWS release. I've decided that perhaps you can't change the amount and that you have to buy credit in $10 chunks--if you need more than $10, you make a second purchase. At least, that's what I'm going to do. I've loaded older JAWS versions and had the same problem, so I'm fairly well persuaded that my guess (above) might be correct.
