hi doug, i precisely followed your instructions and got no results, and here
exactly what i have done.
1. open skype.jkm within notepad.
2. find the line that says:
Equals&o&s=sayOnlineList("SkypeMe")
3. edit it as follows:
control+shift+s=sayOnlineList("SkypeMe")
4. save the file, close notepad, recompile the scripts, and restart jaws.
i tested the result and found that the key sequence is flawlessly working,
while the new shortcut is not.
i checked the list of keys in the keyboard manager, and i did find the new
added hotKey, but why it is not working?
i know that i am annoying you with re-questioning this issue, pardon me, and

Yes you could, if you knew how to write the line. :) My directions

presumptuousness. :) I do hope those directions help you, in any

Adendum to my earlier reply: I'm sure you can use the Keyboard
Manager to do this, but I'm afraid I haven't used that in years. I
just edit the jkm file by hand. If you want to use the Keyboard
Manager like normal people, maybe someone else here can address why
you were getting funny results there. :)
