Hey guys,
I received this yesterday and it can be useful for some users.
If we use a pc running Windows 7 x64, and do not want to use Skype 4 and 5, we
can download version 3.6.0.248 here:

Before installing Skype, you should enter in the file Skype360248.exe
properties, go to compatibility page, and choose to run in compatibility mode
for Windows xp sp2.
When installing Skype, you should click the options button and uncheck the checkbox:
"Run Skype after install".
When installed Skype, right-click on the desktop icon, choose properties, and
compatibility tab; here as well, choose compatibility mode for Windows xp sp2.
Launch Skype, go to View / Accessibility, and check both voices, "Extended keyboard
navigation" and "Simplified graphics".
Now, open the Tools menu and go to options. Go to Advanced settings, and uncheck before the two
checkboxes called "Download automatically", then the two ones called "Notify
me".
Click Save.
Then set Windows updates so that they will be downloaded automatically though
the user can decide when to install them.
Delete the file bundle.dat, recreate it, and rend it a read-only file. Warning:
this operation must be done when Skype is completely exited.
You can find the file bundle.dat in the following location
%appdata%\skype\username\dyncontent
where username is the ID with which you will sign in to Skype.
Last but not least, JAWS users will need to download JAWS scripts for Skype 3.x
here: www.dlee.org/skype/skype35.php.
