Hey guys,
I now initiate a sort of column of useful tips for Skype. The messages in this
column won't be very regular though, they will be posted as soon as I learn
some tricks or so on, in order to share some important and useful infos with
you.
I recently noticed that ctrl+shift+d, the command for checking or unchecking
the live dialpad in a call, did not work correctly if using Skype 5.5. Thinking
it was a bug or a translation problem, I reported the issue to Gianluca
Apollaro, the official italian scripts translator (who is probably reading this
messages by the way). He answered me that it's not a bug, neighter a problem;
basically, Skype 5.5 changed its own interfaces, and for this command to work
you will first have to activate the call menu on the currently active call, and
select the item called, "Show live dialpad" (note the usual possible language
issue). The unconfortable thing is that you will have to make this step before
using ctrl+shift+d for every call you will make.
Bye!
Barbuz
