It depends on the package you pick. I don't recall how many
countries you can choose. But if you go to skype.com you will see
the specifics.
I chose the United States and Canada, because that fit my specific
needs. But there is a large list to choose from if you go to the skype page.

It depends it you get the plan that is month to month or just for
the entire year. I pay $30 which gets me this application for a
full year and then it can automatically bill my credit card when
that year is up.
I use this feature a lot for work as well as for interviews for the
radio program. Quality is excellent.
