The Skype scripts currently do not support the public beta of JAWS 13. I expect the Skype scripts will support JAWS 13, but not the first public beta release. I am having to wait for the next JAWS beta release to provide that support. Some people are succeeding at making the scripts work under JAWS 13 to a sufficient extent for their needs, but the jkm error will happen, settings may not save as expected, and there are probably other issues. This does not, by the way, signal a huge problem with the beta version of JAWS 13 in the general sense. JAWS 13 includes updates to the scripting language that are adversely affecting older scripts, and the way to work through this is still being hashed out, hence my waiting for the next JAWS beta release before I change anything.
