Hi Allison and list. Skype Out is a facility that Skype provides which
allows you to make calls to landlines and mobile phones at cheap rates,
depending on which country you're calling. To use Skype Out, go to the
Skype website, sign in to your account and buy Skype credit. You can make
Skype Out calls as long as you have Skype credit.
Skype In is a feature that allows you to buy a telephone number in another
country. The number is then linked to your Skype account, and when somebody
calls the number, you receive the call like you would any ordinary Skype
call. For instance, I live in South Africa, and I have a United States
Skype In number. People who live in the US can call me on my Skype In
number all the way to South Africa for the cost of a local call. Again, you
need to go to the Skype website, sign in to your account and buy a Skype In
number. Note that Skype now refers to such numbers as online numbers.
