It's not a language issue. Scripts written for JAWS 12 and older won't run quite correctly in JAWS 13 without a bit of changing. I stopped supporting the Skype 3.8 scripts a long time ago though. I've met a very small number of people that still want to use Skype 3.8, but I have also proven that Skype 3.8, when joining a call with newer Skype versions, can degrade call quality and confuse Skype add-ons that use the Skype API. For that reason, honestly, my decision not to support Skype 3.8 goes beyond just the time it would require to do it. I leave the 3.8 scripts up for people to download, as I see no reason to take them down. But I favor the idea of Skype 3.8 going away by now.
