I did what you said, deleted pretty much all the default files,
default_fs.jsb/jsd etc from the user folder not the shared, and then
reinstalled the skype scripts, I'm still having the same issues.

A couple more ideas came to mind after I replied.
Regarding your Skype issues, an incorrect installlation of the scripts
might
be able to cause what you're experiencing, though I don't think I've heard
of that particular symptom before. The script installation process,
particularly if you use SkypeWatch, is complicated, which is why I
recommend
people use the new installer that does all that automatically. But if you
somehow ended up with a default_fs.jsb file that's older than your current
JAWS version, you could potentially experience those messages. The
quickest
fix would be for you to delete
default_fs.* and default.jss/jsb/jsd from your user folder. Make sure it's
your user folder though, not your JAWS shared folder, or you'll end up
with
an unusable JAWS. Once you have done that, use the new installer from my
site, http://www.dlee.org/skype/ to install the scripts again. The scripts
themselves will keep the default_fs files up to date automatically from
then
on.
Regarding Twitter: Though I still don't see any tweets from you even if I
go
back two months, I believe I found your account, and it is protected,
which
means you would never see anything I wrote back to you even if I saw you
mention me. I do not follow people just to answer questions, so it
probably
won't work for you to use Twitter for this. I never thought about
protected
accounts, but as I am sometimes easily overwhelmed by messaging, I don't
want to do a lot of following from the Twitter account I set up
specifically
for making announcements and sometimes answering questions.

I'm using Jaws 11. Whenever jaws starts up, for example when I restart
