Hi, In situation 2 you can read the lines it doesn't read simply buy using the message review commands in skype talking. In situation 1 you can also review the messages with the message review commands. Skype talking interrupts messages and only reads the last message sent. This is buy design. It trys to cut down on the verbosity this way. Personaly I wish I could turn that feature off. In situation 3 you are quite correct all that is being sent to skype talking is some one says what ever and the what ever is always blank. I think this is a api bug but I am not sure. Hth

Subject: Re: [Skypeenglish] Anyone seeing SkypeTalking miss chat lines? Hello Doug, If you mean - not reading (missing) some incoming chat messages - yes, I think I've noticed it. Under the following situations: 1. With a friend of mine, who is with the "Invisible" status in Skype when this happens. But only with him, and I think he runs Skype from an operating system other than Windows (e.g. Linux or MAC). 2. When SkypeTalking reads overdue incoming or outgoing chat messages - it in most cases reads only the last one, if there are more than one. Examples of such messages are the ones send or received when the correspondents are back online. For example - you send me 2 or more chat messages on Skype, but me or you (or both) are not online - when we both are online again at the same time, I will recieve those 2 or more messages but SkypeTalking will most probably only read the last one to me, skipping the previous 1 or more messages. And I've noticed it happening even when using SAPI5 output in SkypeTalking, in witch case the chances of unintentional interruption of the messages reading by me are reduced to minimum, so there is no possibility that I'm just unintentionally interrupting the reading by working with my screen reader at that time. 3. When in a conference and I'm not the host - I recieve some chat messages by Skype itself in witch it informs me about what happens in the conference (e.g. added users, removed users, etc.). I think (though I can't be sure - I don't use JAWS from more than an year and a half), that JAWS reads those messages when they arrive, but SkypeTalking doesn't do it correctly - it only reeds that the conference's host says something, but it doesn't say what. But I doubt that this is what you're talking about (?). Anyway, hope I helped. ___ Best wishes, Kostadin Kolev На 7.5.2012 г. 16:41 ч., Doug Lee написа: > I don't use SkypeTalking, but it's the most popular Skype API client I > can recall that attempts to report incoming chat lines. > > Has anyone seen SkypeTalking miss chat lines, and if so, under exactly > which Skype version?
