Well my vote would be to not include the jsb file. All your doing here is
causing your self problems. If the user is advanced enough to unpack the
installer then he should be advanced enough to compile the scripts if need
be.
My question is why would a user wish to do this. Just run the installer
install the scripts and go. I see no point in unpacking the installer.
Thanks.

Subject: Re: [Skypeenglish] Warning to JAWS scripts users

Actually that was not entirely intentional. I never included the jsb files
in the installer before, because since the installer compiles things itself,
there was no need to include the jsb files. However, now that the installer
can be unpacked without being run, this becomes an issue. I will consider
adding those files, but I have to consider carefully, for a few reasons. For
one, it would mean that compilation failure could result in jsb ffiles
compiled by varying JAWS versions being planted into a single JAWS version.
For another, as JAWS versions change, there can be (and sometimes have been)
changes in exactly how a JSS file is compiled. If I include jsb files, I
will have to pick a JAWS version with which to build the distributed jsb's,
then hope that they work in modern JAWS versions over time. Because I try to
support old JAWS versions, my current pick for a compiler would be JAWS
10.0, because a major compiler change was introduced in one of the JAWS 11
updates. It will get less and less likely that I can continue using JAWS
10.0 to compile as time goes on.

Hello guys,
I just noticed a thing with the Skype scripts installer. Don't take any
offense Doug, I don't want to accuse you in any sort, I am aware that you
probably did it on purpose, but I think users should know this.
It looks like the binary files (*.jsb) are not included in the installer,
which means that, if you unpack it with sevenzip or presumably another
compression program which should work, instead of launching it, you will
have to recompile the scripts so that they can work properly. More
precisely:
1.. if you updated from a previous scripts version and replaced all the
files, you should be able to press ctrl+shift+c from within Skype for this
purpose;
2.. if not, you probably need to open source files with the script manager
and compile them by pressing ctrl+s.
There also are a pair of folders which begin with $ sign which appear if you
unpack the installer, not sure if they may safely be deleted.
Bye!
