Hi! In answer to your question, Sarah, yes, these instructions work for people who don't use JAWS scripts. I use NVDA on this computer, not JAWS. I tab down from the contact list to the Contact Request button every time I need to: I do not, however, automatically add the contact, I at least read their invitation message first, and perhaps look at their profile, to be sure I really want to add them, unless it's definitely someone I already know.
