dear friend, you didn't tell us which version of skype you were using during
conversation with her.
If you were using skype 6.2.0.129, then down grade with skype 6.0.126

Hi, I have a very frustrating situation, I was in a call with my
sister-in-law when I was rudely disconnected after which I found out that
it crashed, a Microsoft windows dialog came up saying Skype has
encountered a problem and will notify me if a solution is found then. When
it says that, JAWS doesn’t speak for a while. I close Skype and then
speech comes back.
Does anyone have any solutions to this particular issue?
