I find that profile editing is possible in Skype 6.2 but not as intuitive as it should be. I spent a lot of yesterday working on this but don't have an update to release quite yet. In the mean time here's what you can do to edit profiles in Skype 6.2 with the current scripts:
Do "Edit Profile" as usual from the Skype menu. I tend to go first to the Contacts or Conversations list so focus lands there when I select the Edit Profile option. Tab once from the Contacts or Conversations list. You should get a "Change Picture" link, according to my tests at least. Tab several more times to the Mood Message box. As usual you can press Space on this to edit your mood message. The next three tab stops are phone number links, which you can Space on to edit. They appear in the order mobile, then home, then office. After that, there is a silent tab stop. If you press Space on this though, a lot more fields appear. This is the part I didn't know until yesterday. Once you've pressed Space on this silent tab stop, tabbing further will reach your email address, ways to add more emails, country/region and other location fields, your web address field, gender and birthday fields, your language, and your About box. You can alternatively use the "Manage your account online" button to manage some or all of this information via a web site.
