Hi fellow Skype users:
How good are you at solveing puzzles? Well, I've got one for you. I have two Skype accounts; One for personal use, and another one to which I use for business. When I login to my personal Skype account, all Skype sounds project through my computer's speakers as they should. However, when I log into my business account, Skype uses my usb microphone as a soundcard. I use the Blue Yeti usb microphone. If any of you use this type of mic, as you know, you can directly monitor everything that the mic is picking up, when you're speaking into the mic. I have not changed any of the settings in my computer, and there doesn't appear to be any options within Skype, that allow you to choose a soundcard. The last time I used Skype, which was about a month or so ago, it did some sort of update. Ever since this so-called update took place, that's when I've been noticing this strange change of events. I'd like to fix Skype, so that all Skype sounds project through my computer's speakers, no matter which account I'm logged into. Before this update took place, I was able to hear Skype sounds coming through the computer speakers using both accounts. It's a good thing that this mic allows for a headset connection because if it didn't, I'd never be able to hear what people are saying when I talk to them using my business account. Is there any way that I can fix this? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
