Hello fellow skype users:
I've got a strange one for you. Earlier today, I was on skype and
everything appeared to be going fine. I wasn't actually talking to
anyone at the time, I just had skype running. Then for some reason, my
computer froze up. I got it up and running again with a simple reboot,
and when I went back into skype, I found that one of my accounts were
gone. I created a new account to replace the one that appeared to have
been deleted, but even that one doesn't show up in the drop-down menu
of skypenames. Could someone please tell me what's going on here?
Another thing I notice, is that the search feature in skype doesn't
work anymore, and when I select someone's name from my list of contacts
and tab over to the area where skype tells you the current time and
whether or not the person is online or not, in the window where it's
supposed to say "online) or "offline", instead it just shows me the
person's birth date. Or in some cases, the window doesn't even appear.
Did skype make some drastic changes without telling us? I've never seen
skype act so weird. I'm puzzled.
